A week after about 150 tea party activists rallied in opposition to U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander's re-election next year, tea party favorite Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky said here Monday that he hopes Alexander doesn't get an opponent and wins re-election.
Alexander, R-Tenn., has aroused tea party ire for his votes for the immigration reform bill and other measures opposed by the hard right.

I live in Lamar Alexander’s home county. Whenever he runs, I always have one of his opponent’s yard signs in my yard.

Could it be that they don’t want to be seen or heard from after hearing that Rand Paul supports socialized education by tuition tax write offs and sticking it to the older hard working tax payers, and his support of Lamar Alexander.
Rand Paul has surely stumbled out of the gate in his first week running for President..... A circus act at best...

Alexander’s only positive legacy IMO was replacing our Felon Governor {Pardon Me Ray} and not becoming such himself. He should have stayed in the private sector after his tenure as governor.
