Scott was in full retreat and no further danger to the cop. The officer stopped firing and took deliberate aim for a kill shot. As far as the taping goes there is a map of this chase that went for some distance. The person taping couldn’t see or had no angle prior to them entering the videoed area.

FWIW the cop missed with three rounds. What if they hit an innocent bystander ALA NYPD tradition.

I was listening to a conservative talk show host who offered an interesting test to expose Jackboot Lovers for what they are:

"If Walter Scott had Tased Michael Slager, then dropped the weapon and run away, would Slager shooting Scott in the back be justified?"

I see at least two "people" [I use the term loosely] on this thread that would answer with a resounding YES!

Now we know why the "Randoms" ended up in the ovens at Auschwitz. Because Leather can do no wrong... :)
