If you want on/off this ping list, please let me know.

Please beware, this is a high-volume ping list!

I plan to donate and donate often. But not to the RNC. Directly to CRUZ. The RNC hasn’t seen a dime of my money since ‘08. I did donate to Newt last time around and that was it.

I imagine “Wife of Cruz” is structuring the fundraising operations. She is a very talented financier, so why not utilize her talents?

I haven’t seen a presidential candidate that I’ve wanted to donate to since Ronald Reagan, but I’ll be happy to donate to Ted Cruz. He fits the bill for what I’ve been waiting for.

Why are Corporate CEO's picking our candidates against the will of American voters? Voters want Cruz or someone like him, but will the CEO's allow it to happen?

What is American Corporatism?
Frontpagemag.com, 13 Sept 2002

The fundamental essence of corporatism is not technocratic but moral: what does government have the responsibility to do? What do people have the right to demand be done for them?

The economic Left likes corporatism for three reasons:

It satisfies its lust for power.

It makes possible attempts to redistribute income.

It enables them to practice #2 while remaining personally affluent.

The economic Right likes corporatism for three different reasons: It enables them to realize capitalist profits while unloading some of the costs and risks onto the state.

The ability to intertwine government and business enables them to shape government policy to their liking.

They believe the corporatist state can deliver social peace and minimize costly disruptions.

Our guy is off to a great start. He has risen from D- on the Krauthammer scale to a C+. For me he has been an A+ right from the get-go but the Kraut still thinks even Mario Rubio ‘s prospects rank higher than Cruz’s.

I really don’t get it with Krauthammer but he will be an interesting weathervane to watch as Cruz crushes Rubio, Paul and The Huckster in the polls.

In my ever so humble opinion it will be Cruz, Walker and Bush in the Finals. May the best man (Cruz) win.

It’s good in a way that expectations for Cruz are so low to begin....when more see the real Cruz they will be blown away.

Kraut’s a democrat. Of course, he trashes Cruz.

This article is filled with information on the inside and it's fantastically encouraging news from the perspective of the Cruz campaign.

The author, Rebecca Berg, has obviously done some serious digging for information and some very well placed sources. Kudos to her.

Convincing former Bush and Perry contributors from past campaigns to support Cruz is one thing, but to poach a significant Walker contributor is surprising (see excerpt below).

Already, Cruz has scored a few banner poaches, such as when he earned support from Stan Herzog, the Missouri CEO of Herzog Contracting, who contributed substantially to Walker's gubernatorial bids.

Herzog, who shares Show Me State ties with Cruz's campaign manager Jeff Roe, rang up Cruz's camp after some of Walker's remarks left him unsettled. Cruz ultimately won Herzog over — a significant enough boon that Kate Doner, Walker's fundraiser, called Roe to discuss it.

"I just heard about Stan," Doner said, according to Lofstrom. "I'm really disappointed. Congratulations to you." A spokeswoman for Walker declined to comment.

I think this is the most important “inside Baseball” article I’ve seen this week. Do the math on the fundraising (and social media, as explained elsewhere) and nobody but the Dauphin can keep up with Cruz. That will mean a Jeb vs. Ted primary season, all else being equal. I don’t think I’d bet against one of the Top 10 litigators in North America facing off against a legacy.

Re: Krauthammer.

No, I don’t believe he’s a Democrat. I think he’s just a smarter than average East Coast GOPey who wants and expects Jeb Bush to be elected in next years election. I don’t think that is going to happen so I’m still interested in seeing the Krauthammer reaction when it becomes obvious that Cruz is going to win the nomination.
