I guess GM’s accounting standards have slipped quite a bit; that, or the FedGov environmental kickbacks are insanely good.
Yeah.
That is what happened to the EV1, but a bunch of people want to blame some grand conspiracy instead of the realities of EV cars.
Fuel economy keeps improving, an event car now needs to compete with cars that can go five hundred miles on one fillup.
And the range disparity will only increase.
But yes, I do recall rather well when unproductive car lines got the axe due to their lackluster sales.
