Well, there you go. The enviro extremists are against nuclear too. Even though nuclear plants produce none of their dreaded greenhouse gases, they continue to oppose nuclear.
In fact, I’ve heard that we haven’t been able to build a new nuclear plant in this country in decades, due to the environmental pressure groups and lobbyists.
The environutsies are against any power source that actually works - even those that they promote such as wind and solar once they get deployed and offending their precious sensibilities.
My understanding is that two new ones are being designed right now, but I cannot remember where they are to be built. All I know for sure is that it’s not California. That would have been easy to remember, just because of the shock it would have been to my system.
