If our nation is to right itself and heal, it must start with leaders with integrity.

There was a time when at least some liberals were people of integrity: Harry Truman, Adlai Stevenson, Estes Kefauver, Dean Rusk, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Margaret Chase Smith. I cannot think of one today. And as for the other side? There are some senators such as Cruz and Lee, some governors such as Walker and Haley, and a handful of Representatives. Perhaps we are growing a crop of future politicians of integrity in the state legislatures; I certainly hope so.

How about a better model? Acknowledge that politicians are inherently unable to be trusted and absolutely minimize their power and resources?
