Those physical requirements don’t seem to be particularly demanding.
The situps and pull ups are approx one every second
I was born when Eisenhower was president and I can do them now except the running. Fake hip, healing quad tendon rupture and broken back.
It’s BS. The typical Army Ranger runs 5 miles in less than 30 minutes. I sincerely doubt any woman could pass without lowering the requirements. The graduation rate in 2011 was 42%, and students lose an average of 25-30 pounds during those two months.

To be competitive in any of these physical tests, the future Ranger students must not strive for the minimum standards listed above, but must maximize their personal physical effort and strive for the following recommended scores:
Ranger PFT Recommended Scores
Push-ups in 2:00 80
Sit-ups in 2:00 80
Pull-ups 12
Two-mile run Sub 13:00
5 Mile run 35:00
16-mile hike w/65lb pack 4-5 hours
15-meter swim with gear Pass/Fail
Nope. I am 65YO and I can do all but the run. The only reason I can no longer run the 5 miles is that I blew out my knee when I was 62.

They are not; they are the bare minimum and you will find that most students max their PT tests at their unit before reporting in.
