They have changed the standards as of late.

The ruck march is light, especially for infantry standards.

The push and sit ups were once part of a normal PT test. Those are all minimum amounts, secondly the RI[Ranger Instructor] 'always' counted the push with a heavy hand, meaning, you probably had to do a extra 20 or so to ensure the correct amount, or almost bounce on the ground to be considered 'low' enough for the minimum.

The requirements, have not always been especially daunting, but the patrolling and such were always the problems.

I have no doubt these young ladies can meet the physical requirements. Especially since they have been put in a environment of being taught, land nav, patrolling and such prior to attending School. Mountain and Florida phase are not fond memories. The sugar sand at Eglin will shape the ladies calves.

I was born and raised in Walton County Florida.

Running on those beaches is interesting. I have done it, in fact chasing down a friend but you sure don’t go fast.
