I don't think the innocent should be killed along with the guilty. Indiscriminate killing is a crime.

Also, what the "chanters" did was incitement to murder, but that is not, in itself, a capital crime. They should be arrested, tried, and the guilty ones punished to the fullest extent of the law for homicidal threats or whatever similar category they have under Dutch criminal law.
