Anti-Semitism has been rampant in Holland, but a new incident has taken the Jew hatred to new levels as Dutch soccer fans chanted anti-Semitic slogans during a match on Sunday, calling for Jews to be burned and sent to gas chambers.
Dutch police have launched an investigation, after video footage captured fans belting out the anti-Semitic slurs and clapping during FC Utrecht’s 1-1 draw with Ajax, reports The Independent.
Dutch media revealed the chants included “Hamas, Hamas, Jews to the gas,” and a longer one filmed by someone in the stands and viewable below, in which the fans roared “my father was in the commandos, my mother was in the (Nazi) SS, together they burned Jews, because Jews burn the best.” …

When you add Muslim immigrants to the homegrown antisemitism exhibited in this stadium, the outcome is at least as dangerous as the mood of pre-War Germany.

I am familiar with Netherlands history from WWII onward. What, pray tell, is it about their history that justifies such anti-Semitism?

Maybe we need to have a stadium full of baseball fans this summer chant “Kill the Dutch” and see if they think it’s funny.

I think these chants are ill-informed, misguided. How malicious? I’m not positive about.
It’s being idiotic like those Chelsea fans who this year have gotten into trouble per racism while I don’t know if personally, they would be that racist. They are being planks.

Shame on them! No real Pole should embrace anything Islamic, especially when they play an Israeli team. Jan Sobieski would turn over in his grave.
That’s why they are hooligans though it is disappointing so many fans would hold that banner. I know there is violence there, English fans only calmed down after cracked down on and had horrible events such as Heysel and Hillborough.
