More than that. If your surgery keeps you breathing a little longer, then that by itself adds enormous quantities to the atmosphere. Everything you do, the longer you live, is adding CO2.
A special permit should be required for any surgery. You should be required to demonstrate that your value to the planet exceeds the amount of CO2 damage you do by existing.
