I don’t disagree with you either. I just don’t think any kid in Harlem or the Bronx or South Central actually wants to be Cosby or Obama. They haven’t an inkling what that means let alone the ability or resources to half way pull it off besides their friends wouldn’t be impressed.

Sure, Obama is a massive divider, that is what he needs. He would be more useless than he is now, since so many are fooled into believing that he can actually do something or is doing something. Eric Hoffer has a good book on mass movements and the people that lead them and those that follow in them. Were any of these so called leaders to actually resolve anything they’d be out of work. Hoffer notes that those who can actually mobilize people are not necessarily those that can lead them or maintain a movement once it achieves anything. Many times movements are centered on personalities and not actual concepts. King in the civil rights movement is a classic example.

You made a good point about black role models. It’s sad to see THE DAD of America in this mess. I would not have dreamed of him in this light. : (

His personal history is very sordid, even from the early days of his marriage he was such a regular at the Playboy mansion that he became Hef’s best friend.

He also had a quietly bad reputation in the industry, and a team of lawyers he kept, and even a bag man from NBC to pay his way out of sex problems with cash.

He loved to control and dominate women, and the female staff at the Letterman show, despised him.

You’ve got very low reading comprehension, or you’re just making up slander as you go. Ether way, it is sad to think about what your life must be like. Pitiful.

No, it isn’t a conspiracy, make an effort to learn something about the Cosby situation.

There you go again...this subject seems to bring out the worst in you. I wasn’t defending Cosby, I was defending due process. From your posts I’ve seen before this demagoguery is beneath you. You are better than this.

You seem obsessed not only with defending Cosby, but with me.

What other topics do you get on FR to tell us that we are not a court and cannot officially determine guilt or innocence? Clinton, OJ Simpson, Ted Kennedy, and Michael Jackson, and all the other celebrities and politician’s obvious but unproven guilt?

This is a discussion forum, we will continue to try to assess the guilt of Clinton, and Cosby, Harry Reid, Al Sharpton, and all the other public figures that come up.

Is Cosby the only one that you try to shut us up about?

Never mind, looking at your posting history, one sees that you are a constant Cosby defender.

Months of it.

Cosby is a nasty man, who seems to despise females, and creeped out many who worked with him, in fact some of his accusers worked with him.

“Female staffers at “The Late Show With David Letterman” are breathing a collective sigh of relief they don’t have to deal with an upcoming Bill Cosby appearance. A source close to the show tells Confidenti@l that the disgraced comic had some truly bizarre backstage requests.

“He’d include as a request, before he arrived, that the young girls, interns and assistants, all had to gather around in the green room backstage and sit down and watch him eat curry,” our stunned source explains. “No one would say anything, and he would sit silently eating and make us watch and want us to watch.”—snip—he’d act alarmingly gross to the women employees.

While our source adds that everyone hated the odd preshow ritual, they were asked by producers to do it because “that’s what he (Cosby) wanted.”
