“Twilight Zone” was the first thing I thought of. He was on one just a few days ago. Also in one with the girl from “Forbidden Planet”.

If I'm correct, he was on a few Andy Griffith shows as Jim Lindsey and another one of those black and white shows, perhaps the Twilight Zone.
Yes, we've been told AG was liberal but this is about James Best, rest in peace. On the AG show he played a guitar in a few of those episodes.

Never saw Dukes of Hazard.
Never heard of him til MeTV.
He was on Andy Griffith as a guitar player.
He was on Twilight Zone (one just on Sunday).

One thing about the Dukes which did not make sense is they could not carry guns because they were on probation for moon shining.
So what do they do? They use bows and arrows with dynamite attached to the arrows.
