I’m guessing he had the generator IN THE HOUSE. If he lived in a bad neighborhood, I could understand why he would have done that. However, it’s better to have the generator outside - and just pull the plug through a barely open window.

I wonder if the man’s family will sue the electric company for not working it out - BECAUSE OF ALL THE CHILDREN. If it was just adults; then you can act different .. but NOT WITH CHILDREN WHO HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE FINANCES OF THE HOUSE.

You may be on to something here, I did some research:

The racial makeup of the town is 27.1% White, 68.4% African American, 0.2% Native American, 1.4% Asian, 0.6% from other races, and 2.4% from two or more races.

So now utility companies need to give free electricity or gas to households with children? Or do you want a new taxpayer-funded welfare-type check for this new free handout?
