You’d need a pretty fat wire. The battery would no longer be the weak link in the chain, exposing other weak links.

How much energy do you have to put thru the charger to accomplish that?

I’ve always thot a quick change battery pack was the slick way to go. Drive into the battery station and park the empty battery on a rack. The empty can take as long as it wants to recharge. Carousel swings a fresh pack into place and you’re on your way. Works with industrial gas. No one waits for their oxy, acetyl, etc. bottles to be refilled. We just swap empties for fulls. Couldn’d be faster.
