I’ve never used g**gle due to their leftness. Accidentally sometimes, but not deliberately. I abhor how most people use that word g**gle constantly.
Yep, everyone change your homepage/search to Bing. You will never miss g**gle, spit.
MS is every bit as “evil” as Google. So is Yahoo.
Except you have to use Google, for which they probably make money. What is the best alternative to google. would like to make sure I never use it again?
Couldn’t they sue Google for that? I am pretty sure they could.
Google has foolishly relied on crowdsourcing here.
That makes their service vulnerable to mob action.
There needs to be some way of putting the brakes on the latter.
I don’t use Google if I can possibly avoid it.
$409,000 now.
Google: Be evil.
That’s just amazing!
Best alternative to google?
try duckduckgo.com
I suggest we rename them Gaygle.
duckduckgo is my startpage
You mean, like "A rather Stalinesque move by google."?
Kindly click, and tell us where you ended up.
Google is infested with moonbats, to be sure. But Microsoft is worse, from the founder's daddy on down, so don't tell us about Bing!
If you want a search engine independent of American politics, let me recommend Яндекс. Kommittee not care where your surf!
Google is completely filtered and controlled by the NSA Internet facility in Utah.
Support and donations roll in at an incredible pace.

GIGO. It's moonbats manipulating Google's restaurant review engine (not to mention other review sites, such as Yelp but those are not germane to the discussion, even if Google finds them).
It wouldn't be the first time libtards tried to manipulate Google. E.g., what is the santorum neoligism?
BTW, I don't know when you searched, but Google is now showing Memories Pizza, at 608 Roosevelt Rd Walkerton, IN 46574, open 11am to 10pm.
Apple cozy up to Google? LOL! What does "cozy up" mean to Tim Cook?
Where have you been? Apple and Google have been competitors ever since those iPhone and Android things happened. Why do you think Apple went into the internet mapping business?
Next thing you know, Apple will roll out its own search engine. Fine and dandy. The more the merrier!
And searched Google Map and got this:

It should be noted that anyone can post a review along with pictures to Google reviews or post reviews on Yelp.

Certainly a lot of hate filled lefties posting their bad reviews and posting nasty pictures to go along with them but there are also reviews posted in support of the owners like this one:
I got the same result. And it when I searched Google Maps this morning, it doesnt show what the blogger at National Review posted (and I remember when the NR was an actual very intelligent news and opinion mag and not just an online blogger site as it seems to be nowdays, not much different from the Examiner IMO) I found no renaming it as Gay Pizza or linking the listing to a Homo dating site. Perhaps it did when he searched it and Google corrected it, or perhaps what he posted was some sort of photoshop posted by some liberal blogger and he never actually took the time to do a Google search of his own. Then again it seems that only you and I took the time to do that here.

FWIW, I always assume that a certain % of all supposed reviews on Google, Yelp, etc. and even on Amazon are complete BS.
Just the other week I was helping my niece look for a reasonably priced local restaurant that has private dining room(s) available; some place suitable for her daughters college graduation dinner not a big fancy catered affair, just a nice restaurant that she can make a reservation for a private dining room for about 15 to 20 people, either with a single check and limited menu choices or a full menu where they allow multiple checks mostly just family, including little kids and some of her daughters close friends.
I was searching online and found a few possibilities and then read some of the reviews on Google, Yelp, Urban Spoon, etc. and it was amazing to see the variety of reviews from the 1 star reviews the food was horrible, came to the table cold, inedible, the worst meal Ive ever had, the service was lousy, our waiter was rude, the wait was too long, the place was dirty, too noisy, DONT GO THERE! - to the 5 star reviews saying it was the its the best meal theyve ever eaten, large portions, perfectly prepared, the service was prompt and friendly and could not have been better, beautiful décor, will definitely go back, its one of my favorite places, I always bring my out of town guests here¸ BEST RESTAURANT IN THE COUNTY/CITY/STATE! ..and some of these polar opposite reviews were posted within days, weeks or months of each other so dont necessarily reflect a change in management or staff.
When looking at anonymous online reviews for restaurants or for products on Amazon, I tend to ignore the very worst and also the most over the top glowing recommendations. I figure the very worst reviews are by trolls, people who get a kick out of writing the worst reviews possible and may have never actually been to the establishment or purchased the product, (or by former disgruntled employees or by the competition) and the most over the top glowing reviews that are perhaps posted by the business owners themselves or people they pay to write the 5 star reviews.
I tend to look at the 3 to 4 star reviews as they seem to be the most honest and evenhanded.
Then again some of the product reviews on Amazon are pure comedy gold.
