To no ones surprise, Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-Walmart) caved on the states RFRA. Excerpt:
Facing a backlash from businesses and gay rights advocates, Gov. Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas on Wednesday called on state lawmakers to either recall or amend legislation billed as a religious freedom measure so that it mirrored a federal law approved in 1993.

The leaders of a mainline Protestant Christian denomination in the US have urged Indiana to veto a contentious religious freedom bill, citing concerns of discrimination.
The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has said it may pull out from holding its General Assembly in Indianapolis in 2017. Church leaders wrote to Governor Mike Pence on Wednesday asking him to reconsider signing the bill into law, which he is expected to do today.
"The recent passage in the state legislature of the RFRA [Religious Freedom Restoration Act] bill is distressing to us," the leaders wrote.
"Purportedly a matter of religious freedom, we find RFRA contrary to the values of our faith as well as to our national and Hoosier values. Our nation and state are strong when we welcome people of many backgrounds and points of view. The free and robust exchange of ideas is part of what makes our democracy great."
The letter states that members of the denomination have a wide-range of views, "but we share a value for an open Lord's Table".
"Our members and assembly-goers are of different races and ethnicities, ages, genders and sexual orientations. They have in common that they love Jesus and seek to follow him. We are particularly distressed at the thought that, should RFRA be signed into law, some of our members and friends might not be welcome in Indiana businesses might experience legally sanctioned bias and rejection once so common on the basis of race."
It is the Conservative Christians own fault. There is a time to stand and fight and if this is not the time, there will never be another one. There are tow choices:1. Stand and fight. 2 Remain passive and be slaughtered. There is no third.
The sad reality is that when “push comes to shove”, there will be a violent, angry backlash.
This guy is stealing my work :(
Typical gay rights/marriage related rout.

It’s not a rout. It’s intentional surrender on the part of GOP “leaders.”
We the People, under God, still hold all the real power, though.
Conservative Christians have not lost anything. We have found out which leaders have the balls for a fight and which ones immediately grab their ankles. My choices for Lotus have now been narrowed to two. Cruz or Rubio.
I have heard that,”We got guns, we will fight” for 20 years.
You got that right!
And less than three years ago, the public rallied to support Chick Fil-A when it came under attack from the sodomites. I know, because at my local eatery, the line of cars driven by customers eager to defy the boycott stretched along an entire block and caused a traffic jam.
Funny typo!
GOP to Christians:
“Drop dead.”
“Oh, and we prefer anus now.”
“The big-tent exit is that-a-way.”
Pink Lotus
Future POTUS
” Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-Walmart)”
L M A O !!
I realize that these “REPUBLICAN???” politicians are a bunch of “WUSSIES”, but my question is, “WHERE ARE THE CHURCH LEADERS? WHERE ARE THE PRIESTS AND PASTORS THAT HAVE KEPT SILENT, ALL THIS TIME”? Have they all become “MUTES”. Don’t they realize that there is a war against CHRISTIANITY, and unless they get into the fight, all they’ve become useless mouth pieces. Their silence has convicted them, and they will pay the price for their cowardice.
” Its not a rout. Its intentional surrender on the part of GOP leaders.”
And I’m still batting 1,000.
Asa has always been a spineless Republican.
Asa Hutchinson: Weighed in the balance and found wanting.
I remember his predecessor, Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Tyson’s).
LOL! I’m having some fun today.
