Well, it feels natural, like all other obsessions or addictions feel natural, and it’s easier for the afflicted to be told by the left they’re normal and loved than to listen to the Christians telling them they’re evil, gross sinners and will go to hell. The Christians should’ve been telling them all along that they’re loved and God can help them ease their burdens, but they didn’t. As an atheist, I can tell you I don’t care about sin. You can talk to me all day, every day about sin and I still won’t care. I’ll back the Christians every time, but y’all need to stop quoting the bible and deal with the reality of the situation.

Religion aside; there is a time to be harsh and a time to be gracious. I have had (and still have) friends that are homosexual; and they know me as a man of peace. But they also know that I know why their lifestyle is wrong. It is true that graciousness will win over a person's mind more than harshness; but those persons MUST be receptive to it. Some have been receptive to the point that they have chosen not to be homosexuals.

Sure, my first post was harsh against deviation from the premise that discrimination against indecent behavior – indecent behavior being any sexuality outside the bond of a monogamous heterosexual marriage between one man and one woman for life – should be tolerated; it was meant as a counter to those who would not be receptive to any graciousness. When someone is beating you over the head, do you just let them do it, or do you fight back? Or is that the time to say, "I love you, and I want to help you"? Or is it a time to say, "you are wrong in doing this and I going to fight back"?
