Indiana's controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act has disrupted the travel plans of UConn coach Kevin Ollie and his staff.
They're boycotting the Final Four in Indianapolis and the annual National Association of Basketball Coaches convention that coincides with it in compliance with Monday's order from Gov. Dannel Malloy's prohibiting all state of Connecticut employees from traveling to Indiana.

This movement has moved way faster than I anticipated. I thought we had about 5-10 more years before this kind of activity.
So? Call the Whambulance.
And like the average citizen gives a crap. Their loss.
Delusion on such a grand scale has to be demonic.
I did a live chat with Angie’s List. The guy had his one line about “tolerance.” I told him that I as a Christian was being discriminated against and that there was no tolerance for me. I told him that Mr. Mercat and I were no longer going to use their company. So yesterday I got a computer generated email thanking me for being a member. I emailed back telling them I wanted nothing to do with their company. They must be getting push back because I got another email saying that they were rethinking their position and that they were no boycotting Indiana and that they valued being Hoosers. cool cool cool
So, can conservative states ban state employees and coaches from traveling into liberal states??
They work for a stupid state. Hope they’re happy.
I wonder what ever happened to the post-Traygone boycott of Florida....
I fought sodomy “marriage” in Hawaii last year. We relied much on Brian Comenker’s Mass Resistance organization in Massachusetts, as well as on Phil Lees’ Peace Initiative in Ontario, Canada. From them we learned the playbook: civil unions, which will pave the way for same sex “marriage”, which now, enshrined in law, is foisted upon the schools and everywhere else. Alinsky had a long-range plan, Margaret Sanger had a long-range plan, the LGBT-as-front-for many groups on the Left has a long-range plan.
I emailed Angies List and said due to their bigotry against people of faith I wanted to cancel my membership and have no further contact from them. The next day they sent an apologetic letter saying they are just asking for clarification because they love Indiana so much. I responded that I want confirmation of them cancelling my account and not their pull back now that they are losing customers. They responded that my membership has been cancelled.
There just HAS to be something in the water in Connecticut to be causing so much stupidity!
Sort of ‘tongue in cheek’ but
It would be ‘nice’ if states that allowed CCP would ‘forbid’ people from going into or dealing with states that don’t recognize the CCP from that state.
‘They’ (NY MD etal) expect us to accept their ‘marriages’ so we should demand they honor our permits.
States rights and Sovereignty (SHOULD) works on both sides of the coin, but as this MalMisadministration and the Libs that support it, just reject us......
And we get ready for BOHICA all over again.....
The word to Boehner, McConnell and the RINOs should be
Lead, follow or GetTheFluge out of the way.
We are entering the age of social concentration camps, where those who do not march lockstep with the “enlightened” ones will be forced into exile.
these boycotts are quickly forgotten, I mean they have boycotted everything by now
Since Connecticut has what apparently is a more strongly-worded religious freedom law than Imdiana’s, the only reasonable solution is for UCONN to leave Connecticut. In fact, the entire state government and all state employees should have to pack up and go to New York.
YOU said it! Pretty stunning, but this is no drill. Amazing that this is what collapse looks like.
What would they have done if the women’s team was playing in Indy instead of Tampa? Would they have made them go without coaches? I think not.
A meaningless gesture as the Uconn men’s team will be watching the Final Four from home. Looks like one of the best FFs in a long while.
