Yes, but Obama does not control anything in Canada. However, many of the current oil trains ship back to JD Irving’s refinery in New Brunswick. One of these trains was the cause of the major fire in Quebec a couple years back.
Once that oil gets to New Brunswick it is turned into products that end up in New England and eastern Canada. Irving owns hundreds of fuel stations in ME, NH, MA, VT, etc. They also distribute propane and heating oil. I personally would rather buy their products if I know they were coming primarily from Canada than from other foreign sources.
