It's a good day," President Barack Obama said, as he hugged Jani Bergdahl, mother of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, upon his announcement last May that Bergdahl had just been released from five years of Taliban captivity.

Surely.
Saving face is more important than just about anything else to a Moslem outside, of course, of the overriding requirement of islamizing all of humanity.

He likely would not pardon Hassan (same name as Hussein-different dialect) until he is leaving office if he leaves office.

You assume he was tortured. We have that only on his word. Could there be other reasons for coming back to the USA?

Benghazi was a failed attempt to accomplish something, ie, an exchange of the Blind shiek for Amb. Stevens, but there was a double cross.

Maybe this was the second attempt to trade away high value detainees for something.

They wrapped Bergdahl in the flag, and tried to make it look like an amazing triumph for Obama when it was simply a convenient cover to allow five high level enemy back into circulation to continue their mayhem.

The tell was when Rice said that “Bergdahl served with honor and distinction” a blatant attempt at Jedi mind control, not unlike the whole Benghazi video lie.

After all, a lie becomes the truth is you see it often and loud enough.

Obama may not need to pardon him--his lawyer may negotiate a deal where he gets no jail time. Of course Bergdahl's apologists want him to get back pay and an honorable discharge...I don't know if Obama would be able to intervene to make that happen. I think they want to avoid a trial because it wouldn't be good for Obama politically.

Ted Baxter last night was opining that Bergdahl should not get any jail time. I forget what branch of the service O'Reilly served in.

If Bergdahl gets an honorable discharge, they might as well abolish all other categories of discharge and give everyone who leaves the service an honorable discharge. Unless, of course, they need to keep the "dishonorable discharge" for someone drummed out for making a racist joke or "homophobic" comment.

“Bergdahl’s apologists want him to get back pay and an honorable discharge”...........

Odumbo’s plans to finance that “back pay” as he reduces the salary of those who DID NOT desert. (I despise that bastard with all my heart. “Sorry, Lord”)

What I find odd is that Bowe has still not seen his parents. Something’s not right, right there.

Wow. Are you more cynical than I am?
One thing is sure. Everyone you named, and all the other cretins in this administration will get theirs in due time.
