Netanyahu may be right but he is in no position to influence directly the outcome of the talks. Obama is an anti Zionist and views the world through the prism of perceived racism. He not only dislikes Netanyahu but clearly sympathizes with the Palestinians. What’s more, he has an affinity for Islam and does not view a nuclear armed Iran as an existential threat.
Israel’s best hope to stop this deal is through the Saudis who have a strong influence over the French. The Saudis purchase most of French grain exports to feed them selves and destitute Egypt. They have invested heavily in prime French real estate and French companies. They own a big part of the French national debt. The Saudis fear a nuclear armed Iran even more than Israel. Israeli and Saudi interests rest with France.
