This is true of many ANGRY people. They tend to have some kind of free-floating, fundamental ANGER, the cause of which is buried deep in their pathological psyches.
They typically claim justification from one external cause or another--overbearing parents, personal misfortunes, etc.
Many, like Hillary, will claim outrage at the injustice of the world. This of course is bogus. It's just an excuse to vent this basic anger that gnaws at them.
In some, it's not really anger. It's hatred. Basic, unattached, free-floating hatred, sometimes fueled by or accompanied by anger. But here again, it's true and self-serving nature is concealed behind bogus expressions of outrage at injustice, justification, or anything else that serves the purpose.

Also apparently off the table: "tone deaf" -- at least according to a new Twitter account that appears to be from the group:...."
