The States must amend the Constitution as follows:
Amendment XVIII:
Article I Section 1 of the United States Constitution is amended as follows; after the phrase "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives", the words "and such powers granted to the Congress by the States and the People are non-delegable to officers of the Executive Branch, nor may they be delegated to, or assumed by, Judges holding their tenure under Article III".
Your amendment won’t happen, but hopefully the regulatory excesses of this administration will have convinced Congressional Republicans that they need to rein in the regulatory agencies once and for all.
The path to doing that is via the budget process first, followed by a GOP President who will clean house at each agency, installing people who will be in agreement with reducing the overall scope of each agency’s responsibilities.
There’s a lot to be done. The Congress is in place. Now we need the right president. One of the main reasons I like Walker is that he’s faced these same sorts of overreaches by opponents in both WI and Milwaukee, and he’s shown that is more than willing to take them on. I also think several other GOP candidates would be likely to do the same, by the way, especially Cruz.
