The Terri Schiavo case was a big turning point for Glenn....
GLENN: If you are a long-time listener of this program, you remember the plight of Terri Schiavo, the really long-term listeners, those that have been with me since I was on WFLA remember I was on the wrong side of the Terri Schiavo case and I remembered what the listener said to me last night. The listener called me on a Friday, and I was against the Schindler family. I was saying pull the plug, pull the plug. A listener called me and said Glenn, you are thinking about this all wrong.
I say, how is that?
Because there is no plug to pull.
What are you talking about?
I just want you to think about this. Is food and water life support? Is that a medical procedure?
I said, well---
Just think about that this weekend and pray on it.....
I came back that Monday, and I announced I was wrong....
I was wrong and I misled people, and so I tried to make it up to the family and to Terri and tried to do the right thing....
Some good has come from that. Bobby Schindler is here with us now Terri's brother. .....
SCHINDLER: ....our battle with Terri lasted better part of five years. It really started in 93, when Michael started his pursuit to end Terri's life, but we saw the danger that people like Terri were in, and the families who were scared to death of the same thing happening to loved ones caring for their loved ones in similar conditions.....The calls we have been safe receiving the past ten years have grown significantly and it's an indication that our health care system is really targeting these people.....

He worked what some of us call a Tenth Step.
This is such a powerful story to me and something good to remember as we are in the midst of the tenth anniversary of the 13-day long killing of Terri Schiavo.
Bobby Schindler also has a story to tell about the situation getting worse with more people like Terri being targeted for death today.
Journalists still use the expressions “life support” and “pull the plug” and “dying” when writing about Terri Schiavo.
Terri Schiavo was not dying.
She was murdered.
Ultimately, Jeb Bush murdered Terri Schiavo.
Yep.
And I remember that every time his name comes up as a potential president.
Me too.
Yes.

Jeb Bush, by his actions, also confirmed that a man owns his wife.
How 5th century.
I guess you missed Larry King’s interview of Michael Schiavo drooling over how much he had enjoyed killing his own parents in similar fashion.
You may want to say both Bushes (George W who signed the meaningless legislation on March 21st, 2005 and Jeb who failed to act like he did before when starvation began) are responsible.
When the authorities in Alabama were unwilling to protect civil rights protestors in 1961, JFK sent in federal marshals and when they came under attack was ready to send in the Army.
It was then when Governor Patterson came to his senses and declared martial law, calling out the National Guard to protect the “Freedom Riders” and their supporters.
Here’s a link to an article at cnn.com, with a link on their sidebar to the video of Larry King’s interview of Michael Schiavo. It’s java script, and not compatible with my iPhone. I’d appreciate any help accessing the video for viewing on the iPhone, and posting on my profile page, if anybody knows how.

I saw the interview (a few times) when it first aired. During the interview, MS stated that he had starved his own parents to death, and it didn’t bother him at all. I still remember his demeanor as he talked about it. It was creepy, the way he seemed to be enjoying it. Savoring the memory. That was my take, before I had formed any opinion on the case.
I had seen coverage of Terri’s family pleading for her life, and I felt deep sorrow for them, but at that point I wasn’t sure about many of the basic facts. I thought maybe they just weren’t able to face the “reality” that she was dying, and no amount of medical intervention would do any good. Then Michael spoke, and cleared everything up. He made it clear she wasn’t dead or dying, but he wanted her to be, and he was going to enjoy it. And he was going to enjoy making those who loved her suffer greatly.
I wish this video was widely available. Nobody with an IQ above the death cult threshold for deprivation of food and water could watch this and conclude that MS had anything but evil on his mind.
I am not computer literate enough to help you with the video. But I have said and will say again that Michael can thank God every day that she was not my daughter. If she had been he would have been in hell long ago. I would be in prison but he would be in hell. But sooner or later, he will get there and this world will be a better place.
I did. But I learned all I needed to know about Michael from the website Terri’s Fight.
“Ultimately, Jeb Bush murdered Terri Schiavo”
I have to disagree with that one. The husband and the judge murdered Terri. They will have to answer to God one day for their sins.
Jeb Bush who I oppose as a presidential candidate did everything he legally could to prevent Terri Shiavo from being murdered. Actually at the time I was very invested in the drama that was being played out in Fla and I thought Jeb Bush went way beyond what any other Governor would have done to help the family.
Well stated. I think most people who paid attention to what happened would agree with everything you said.
What also was pure evil was the fact that Ms. Schiavo’s parents wanted to care for her. They were willing to take on the total responsibility, Mr. Schiavo was free to walk away. He refused to just walk away and let the parents have their daughter. Pure EVIL!!
Michael sued the insurance company. He took the witness stand and swore and sobbed that if the jury found for him, he would become a nurse and take care of her for the rest of her life. The jury awarded him $ 900,000.00 right after he got the money was when he begin to try to kill her.
I can’t wait until they are both burning in hell. It is my prayer that God will grant Judge Greer the insight to see in the last hours of his life the fires of hell that await him.
These murders are happening all the time behind closed doors. The Schindler’s former county is known as Death Central by the legal community for one.
Jeb Bush murdered his chance at elected office too. I will campaign against him; mama’s boy kill an innocent woman whose whole family let him take the entire rap. The rest of their family murdered her too.
