A locked cockpit door can normally be unlocked from outside, apparently. Here the co-pilot deliberately locked him out. That’s not something done after having a stroke or whatever

You're right. I just saw a video to that effect. It looks like there is an override button in the cockpit that could shut off the door override procedure.
