An Airbus training video shows that the A320 cockpit has safeguards in case one pilot inside becomes incapacitated while the other is outside, or if both pilots inside are unconscious. Normally, someone trying to get into the cockpit requests access and a camera feed or peephole lets the pilot decide whether to accept or specifically deny access.
If there is no response, a member of the flight crew can tap in an emergency code again requesting access. If there is still no response, the door opens automatically. If, however, the person in the cockpit denies access after the emergency request, the door remains locked for five minutes, according to the Airbus video.
___ ___
The computer that control the aircraft should be looked at..it is suppose to make the flight more efficient compared to Boeing types that have humans as the prime....Airbus has had problems before with the human to computer to flight controls....probably why German pots refused to fly after the 320 went down....
ground based auto control is the next security need.
Connect the dots. Muslim
To me, this has some of the same tell-tale signs as MH370.
“Workplace violence.”
Indeed.
Have you seen the names of the aircrew?
Maybe I missed it, but I have not.
Moslem connection, I am speculating and that is why no announcement of who was piloting the plane
My guess: The individual in the cockpit was named Mohammed, Hussein, or al-Something.
EgyptAir Flight 990 comes to mind too.
The pilots named as Patrick S and Andreas L according to the telegraph newpaper and bild.
doesnt say what religion
apparently the last names are held due to german privacy laws..
All western hemisphere airlines should ban any Mohammedan from being an employee. Yes, dicriminate based on religion, although Islam is more a violence-based ideology. Too many instances of these 7th Century death cult adherents purposefully crashing aircraft and taking hundreds with them.
No. Even if the names are Christian, you have converts.
Why?
So terrorists can fly planes in to the ground without killing themselves?
well those don’t sound obviously Moslem, now do they?
My mind wants to say “Muslim”, but I wonder if they’re withholding info that might point that finger.<p.It seems odd that there was/is no claiming of responsibility or other overt indications - unless they have decided to keep us guessing, it makes no real sense in a case where crashing the plane would seem to be the goal vs. stealing it to use later.
Too bad the door gadget can’t lock out Muslims or take blood samples to test pilots for drugs.
My WAG, Disturbed gay individual, psychotic break, suicide, took many innocents with.
Clearly there needs to be a hidden key somewhere close to the door that either the pilot or co pilot can get to in a worst case scenario. Or a code known only to the pilot to open the door immediately.
And converts can be the most motivated (CRAZY).
