When I was in college, I was friends with an exchange student from Ethiopia. There were also a lot of inner-city black kids on basketball scholarships who wandered around acting like street thugs (which they were). One day after a run-in with a couple of the thugs, my friend asked me “Why you let n*****s act like that here? I may be black, but I ain’t no n****r.”
Yes, they are worlds apart; besides the physical fear of violence, Africans are disgusted at the opportunities squandered by American blacks (in terms of what is made available to them).
