PARIS As officials struggled Wednesday to explain why a jet with 150 people on board crashed in relatively clear skies, an investigator said evidence from a cockpit voice recorder indicated one pilot left the cockpit before the planes descent and was unable to get back in.

The tragedy is too pronouced to hide with a cheep sheet.
Muslim pilots can not be trusted and need to be run out of the travel business.

Everything has to be consider, then eliminated one by one as more data/evidence is disseminated.
I personally thought a medical incident possible at first. However, the more I learn regarding the door locks and auto pilot being turned off or altered....Well..
I disagree. I'm leaning towards terrorism, only based on the door locks and the flight path change at this point. If this pilot had any kind of questionable history, everyone will know it once he's ID'd.
Can you imagine that there would be a choice for passengers, that if you wanted a Muslim-free air travel experience you could chose from certain airlines, the rest of them would cater to PC idiots.
If we only called this a war against Islam, we would be like we were in WWII and see this as a sabotage from our enemies the Nazis and the Japanese and not let them near our international transport systems.
And don’t forget that communication was cut off, the cellphone responders and the land line phones dead for all the time the plane was descending. Also the flight recorder from the second black box was missing.
Thinking like a terrorist. The 911 attackers had trained to fly a plane, but did not want to learn how to land it.
There should be continuous information streaming from the plane, none of this archeological searches for black boxes at the crash site, which in this case one may have been compromised before it was loaded because the memory chip was not found.
It makes perfect sense if there’s a mountain in your way and you want to fly into it, praying to Allah, undisturbed by screaming passengers. Why dive steeply when the land will rise to meet you?
When MH370 happened, the pilots family members were quick to come on TV and defend him, not a peep here from the families of these pilots..I think your right, a gag order is in place..according to reports today these pilots had a long history with Lufthansia Airlines and the pilot flew for 10 years and had 6,000 miles of flying hours, not sure about the other guy
You bet. I’m trying to imagine being at that height and no cell phones were hitting any distant towers. You think their range would be very extended with line of sight to a tower. Also hard to believe there are no backup commo in the FA’s galley area, like a simple small radio with an ATC emergency frequency. Don’t need much power to transmit at those heights.
The mother worked for the US gov , I think in cybersecurity, but may be wrong.
There were Israelis aboard, too.
I’m guessing the captain pounding on the cockpit door unable to get back in would be every bit as disturbing to the passengers as a rapid descent.
I think that the news services besides showing the lock/ neutral/unlock position of the cockpit door, should explain that the communication channels had to be shut off purposefully to not be working at that position, altitude, speed, weather conditions, etc. This was wilful intent to silence the plane from the outside world.

Do we know the pilot and copilot are both men and not women?
During the news conferences they have referred to them both as “He” so unless they are those transgender type freaks Im assuming they are both men
Well, in this incident they don’t have to go looking for all the debris, flight data etc, so this should move a bit quicker. Big mystery now is the pilot ID...

I agree. The flight data recorder will show if the pilot set the plane to descend or not, how he input it will be the key to solving the mystery I think.
Have you read that something was disabled (e.g. the transponder), or are you speculating based on no communications with ATC?
