Interesting. My guess is even before the release of the CVR info, they knew that they had a problem with one of the pilot names. They are concealing it for a reason.
Never help communists. Ever.
Here, this will tell you more than you should know about the cockpit door:

Why no pilot names? Why no pilot photos?
yeah that is what is odd about it..German Airlines, common sense would tell ya that the pilots are German, but something else is going on here..at least release the names, very strange
Ha! Touché
That is what I am wondering too, why the 8 minute descent? Why not just dive straight into the ground?
I am still leaning toward terrorism but the 8 minute descent does seem very odd if it was.
Sounds like a made up name: Anything Wrong.
Yep, when I heard they still haven’t ID’d them, meters pegged...Once the ID is out there, everyone will know the pilots history. That might prove interesting.
Not sure how a heart attack would lead to a controlled decent, the plane was a cruising altitude and was surely on autopilot.
After watching the video I wonder if it’s possible to accidentally put the door in secure lock by pushing the toggle too far.
Also what happens if someone in the passenger compartment enters the wrong code?
Maybe he didn't want to freak everyone out and risk a mob breaking into the cockpit somehow and stopping him.
I noticed that right away. As sophisticated as Germany is, you know they have employee photos. Someone is being protected, and my guess is it ain’t us.
Eventually, we will see the photos. This is too big and too dramatic to be brushed away. Seeing the Malaysian Air tragedies were bad enough last year, but Germany typically takes great pride knowing that all essential machines are functioning properly. It’s a sublime though intangible part of their culture.
Just to make it more interesting, let’s say the plan was to hijack the plane, not crash it. (It does not make sense that it would be put on a slow descent if the intention was to take it down.) Then let’s assume the outside pilot is the bad guy, who already incapacitated the inside pilot and set the plane on a slow descent, left the cabin........could he get back in?

Probably trying to give the pilots’ families a break. Or at least time to get out of town.

I just read the drudge report. If, indeed, the report is correct then everything I said can fly out the window. I had assumed a legitimate accident.
If the report is correct then sabotage makes the most sense. I await the report of the co pilot is named Muhamed bin Muhamed al Muhamed.
I had assumed there was an accident. Not something as stupid as a pilot (or copilot) leaving the cockpit WITHOUT a flight attendant taking over the chair while the pilot relieved himself.
Correct. Are there not two sets of families and friends grieving the loss of these individuals? Why haven’t they come forward? Why has no one sought them out?
My two-cents, but I think the airline is on a gag order until the relevant authorities uncover who was flying the plane and what was in their background.
Allah fubar is merely a prayer said at one’s death, not a suicide chant...
