There are things in the Christian Bible that were done before, but they have not been excised from it. They are simply not practiced any more. At one time in the past, they were practiced, but they are considered ... today ... no longer relevant!
I know that some people might consider the killing of homosexuals to be valid today ... but I don’t and most people don’t consider it valid, although someone could point to a part of the Bible that indicates that. I also don’t consider the stoning of women to be valid, but someone could point it out in the Bible.
Islam can do the same thing ... “by THEOLOGY” consider it no longer valid, even though it’s “there”.
Keep in mind the history of Islam and its use of the practice of “taqiyya” (lying to non-Muslims) leading up to its attempts at conquest.
Then the real fun begins.
Today it’s ISIS, but this is no different from what occurred 650AD until the Crusades.
Old Testament and New Testament. The Christian part is second one. The Old Testament is Jewish.
“I also dont consider the stoning of women to be valid, but someone could point it out in the Bible.”
old testament crap. Jesus had something to say about stoning that supersedes the old.
