I don't always post stuff about "The most interesting man in the world" But when I do, I find them...interesting ;-/

I used to have a Trini Lopez full-sized cutout. But I sold it to a Gibson collector.

Wonder if Disney has any old animatronics for sale? Like Ben Franklin, or Abe Lincoln?

I drove in Seattle for 41 years. I HATED HOV lanes. I got an IT contract at Blue Cross in Lynnwood and drove there from Renton. I bought a motorcycle endorsement for my license and then bought a motorcycle specifically for the commute via HOV lane.
One of the things I love about Kentucky (where I have lived for 4 years) is that they have NO HOV lanes. They also have as many freeway lanes entering the city as Seattle does, but with a fraction of the traffic.

It’s also yet another failed liberal social planning idea.

I’ve lived in the Seattle area since 1989 and can vouch for all the HOV lanes and the inevitable, widespread traffic snarls. Seattle has long had some of the worst traffic backups in the country.
BTW, I moved there from Kentucky!
In hindsight, I should have stayed, but was a lib back then and just followed my politics.

The driver is set to appear on all the late night talk shows. Just a hunch.

I used to commute from Redondo to Harbor Island in 30 minutes back in the 70’s. I wouldn’t want to try it now.

A full side doll would be even funnier, especially if it was one with the mouth open.

HOV lanes are government employee only carpool lanes.

I bought a 6 Pack of that stuff to try it, and couldn’t drink more than a couple. I thought it sucked!
This is coming from someone who’s favorite beer is Guinness Extra Stout. The Dos Equis had a crappy bland flavor to me. You probably couldn’t get intoxicated by it, because you’d likely throw up before you could drink enough of it....

I remember in history class watching a film from the early 50's about the development of the Interstate Hwy system. It had footage of the construction of I-5 through downtown Seattle as an example of alleviating traffic congestion.

OK, THAT cracked me up. I’ve sort of done the same thing. I’ve said that I’ve moved from a place where my vote didn’t count to a new place where my vote doesn’t count, but for the exact opposite reason.
And the traffic was the main reason I left. I had just had it. Beautiful area. I like KY more, though.
