Since Cruz is going to push for the complete repeal of zerocare, he will/would likely get attacked if he wasn’t signed up himself. Attacked as a cold hearted elitist that is unconcerned for the millions that will lose insurance.
In addition, Cruz will have a front row seat and can speak directly about his and his families experiences.
It’s a very smart thing for him to do.
If he is actually going to try to get an Obamacare doctor... well he at least is going to have some stories to tell. I hope he does have his concierge MD on speed dial just in case!
