That leaves you with the medical sharing ministries or obtaining a waiver. There are also those who have pointed out that the law does not allow the IRS to take collection action if you don’t pay the fine. All they can do is apply it against any refund you would have otherwise gotten. Personally I think the medical sharing ministries are the best option, but your results may vary.

Why should I go through the time, trouble, and expense to get a medical sharing ministries or obtain a waiver when my medical insurance is absolutely no business of the federal government whatsoever?

Obamacare is patently unconstitutional and should be rejected as such at the state level. Not sure his tactic helps that cause.
