"The US appears to have a reasoned interest in prolonging the crisis."

I think Obama is interested in prolonging the crisis, and that with his comments on no Palestinian state on his watch and against Arab voters Netenyahu has given him the excuse Obama was looking for. Netenyahu can walk his comments back all he wants and apologize until the cows come home but he can't unring the bell when he's facing people who don't want him to.

Secular and Atheistic Jews were traditionally the organizers and intellectuals of the radical and revolutionary left in this country and the aging 1960s radical generation are still members of the power structure.

However, starting with the 1980’s generation of radicals, they are anti Semite to the core and frankly feel that Gas Chambers are far too humane of a way to deal with their Jewish problem.

Incredibly, American Jews seem completely blind to what is happening with the new left.

For years defensive of their support for US President Barack Obama and his White House, Washington's pro-Israel establishment now fears that the train of US-Israel relations is "running off the tracks." Speaking to The Jerusalem Post, their reactions ranged from deep concern to "bewilderment."

“His true JEW-HATER attitude has come out now”

Mark his behavior will get worse in time. As I have posted in the past. Obama will reveal his true self. This is what concerns me regarding Ted Cruz. Will Obama allow an election for 2016?

Stemming from 7 years of denial.

Obama doesn’t have the power, resident In the Office of the President, to overcome the institutional parameters that force that to happen.

The institutions in place over the years are pretty strong, and if they weren’t Obama would have done 100 times worse things than he’s been able to do. It just won’t happen.

BESIDES ... we’ve already got a “track record” with the last two Presidents before Obama, of whom it was said about them, too ... that they would not leave the Office, either ... LOL ...

We can see how well that worked out for them ... :-) ...

Uh, Israel, this is what Obama has ALWAYS been. Hopefully you're waking up to the truth.

Obama and the Democrats have never worried about losing their constituencies, at least not the Jews and the Catholics.

The reason is that many people in those groups have been Democrats since birth and it’s a part of their souls, so to speak.

It is the fault of these two groups why the liberals in the Democrat party have continued to march leftward without any punishment. If Catholics had turned their backs on the Democrats when they embraced all sorts of immoral lifestyles and unlimited abortion, etc. descent into a cesspool would have been halted. It seems that Catholics are only in the past 10-20 years moving more and more into the conservative, more traditional political side of the spectrum after years of insults from the left.

Whether Jews will finally see the light is doubtful, although the GOP does have a higher percentage of Jewish voters than ever before. Pray that it is not too late.

Took ‘em a while to wake-up to the impending holocaust. Most didn’t wake up until it was WAY too late. Pattern seems to be repeating itself with their knee-jerk support of the Democrats in the U.S.

I agree with this 100%. If American Catholics simply voted their theology we'd have never been in this mess to begin with. Ironically, Catholic opposition to classical liberal economics is based on European right wing ideology, which is very different from American right wing ideology. Since the United States has never had a European or Catholic style right wing political party, they had to make do with the Democrats. Now the Democrats have drug them leftward into the sewers and they (with the exception of a heroic remnant) are completely at peace with it.

Meanwhile Orthodox Jews (who always have to maintain good relations with whoever or whatever is in power) continue to be represented by liberal Democrats (even "Orthodox" liberal Democrats) who continue to thump secular multiculturalism and government money as the only things standing between Jewish life in the United States and utter annihilation.

These groups are disappointments, but the Democrats have done this with every single bloc vote they've ever owned. How soon we have forgotten the "Solid South" which had the Deep South giving its votes in two separate elections to Adlai E. Stevenson because they were still sore at the Republican party for winning the Civil War! For a while it seemed that nothing would ever change that, and even now the "yellow dog Democrat" is unfortunately not totally extinct.

"As someone who was critical of several steps by [Netanyahu] during the campaign leading up to his re-election," said Abe Foxman, longtime national director of the Anti-Defamation League, "I am even more troubled by statements now coming out of the White House."

This is significant.
