The ancients sailed the Mediterranean for thousands of years. It is not hard to believe that some Greeks, Minoans, Egyptians etc. made it to nearly anywhere on the globe.
I do think it is unlikely that they made it to these places then managed to make it home.

But the Egyptian boats stopped when they got to the end of the Nile. They didn't go on to the Mediterranean and I can't imagine them out on the open ocean.
