“Shouldn’t there some geological evidence for coastline flooding during that period?”

Not enough of a difference to be detectable without gauges.

I never see centrifugal force effects on the water at the equator addressed in global warming articles. The melting due to warming always seem to imply all water levels increase by the same amount everywhere on the planet.
