You can hire political strategy. As long as you get the right people, it’s an asset.
True, Obama did in Plouffe, but it is the job of the president to be a strategist, otherwise you get the situation where the world ends up crashing around your ears.
I just read something about the IMF being “delighted” to work with a gigantic Chinese bank (which was set up LAST YEAR!) which apparently is viewed as a rival to the World Bank and which we are apparently warning of having questionable standards!
