It took five years to get the noise from the minarets silenced for the early morning ,and dammed antisocial, call to “prayer” after they had had the Church bells silenced completely in ‘their” area of the City. That looks like infringement of rights to me.
There are no other “ethnic” groups in this town that cause problems to the same magnitude as these creatures. We have a full spectrum of the world here, guess who stands out on the crime and offensive behaviour spectrum? Even the Indians curl up at the edges at their behaviour.
Staying calm and carrying on is ,as you know, the British way of dealing with problems. This is a sign of defeat and surrender to them. They think they are winning. In many towns and Cities ,they are!

To say we don’t have guns is nonsense, esp from an actual Briton. We have 2.3m legal guns in the UK. Yes, the gun laws have been bad and kneejerk, and I hope to god are repealed one day. But barring assault rifles (which almost nobody owned in 1988) and mainland handguns, the vast majority of UK guns have always been rifles and shotguns, so most thankfully weren’t banned.
CC?. Legal in NI, allowed very sparingly on mainland.
Rights?. Yes, like you, I am sick of the PC offense culture that clamps down on you and I yet is scared to attack them (although imo that is changing), but again to overstate by saying we have no rights is silly. We have them, we just need a cultural change to assert them.
