Defense spending is 18% of the budget. Spending caps hold down ALL spending, don't they?.
Remove the spending cap for defense and you open the door to spending increases across the board.
That's what the Democrats are counting on and their spending priorities are four time greater than yours. (ie: the other 82% of the pie).
