I believe that if they did this and Obama refused to retaliate then Netanyahu would obliterate Iran with thermonuclear weapons.
Not only as retaliation for the strike on the US but to protect against a strike on Israel.
I can see no other possibility in such circumstances.
Deterrence depends on credibility. Obama has no credibility, but Netanyahu certainly does. That’s for sure.
