Days after vowing not to establish a Palestinian state, Netanyahu says something else in his first post-election interview.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has retracted his pre-election statements, according to which he would not allow a Palestinian state to be established.

Bibi has never been the man so many FReepers think he is. I saw this coming. So should all of you.

Well, he will get what he wants. Obama will go to the United Nations and withdraw support for Israel. It will pass the Security council without our veto. It is over for Israel. The boundaries will be 1967. All the settlements will be bull dozed assisted by US troops in support of the United Nations. Republicans in the congress will DO NOTHING. The people will do nothing fixed impenetrably on American Idle and other nonsense. Hello Palestine. Goodbye Israel.

Israel has long supported a state for Palestinians OUTSIDE of Israel, it was always the Pallies who rejected the responsibility of actual governance

Next he’ll say that he is not going to push for a Palestinian state, because it isn’t achievable, and he didn’t lie to get elected, he just talked out of both sides of his mouth. Then he’ll say that conditions have changed, and now a two-state solution is achievable, and start knocking down plywood outposts. You have just met Bibi when he’s not making speeches in the US, a slick, conniving SOB. This is why I am not proud of voting for him.

The left and libs are doing there all to try and “catch “ Netanyahu in his words.

But they cannot.

He said that “today,” he was against a “two state solution” during the campaign. He said it was unachievable “today.” And he is right.

As long as the Palestinians confederate with Hamas, and do not denounce the “destroy Israel” stance they take, there can never be a two state solution.

Period.

This does not mean Netanyahu is against any “two state solution,” it just means that it has to be based on trust and goals that drive them both towards peace. Right now...that is not the case.

Obama and his cohorts want a “solution,” at any cost...meaning any cost to Israel. They loathe Netanyahu and his principled stand against those that Obama supports...like the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and the Mullahs in Tehran.
