It isn't designed for violent felons. Violent felons forfeit that right just as they forfeit their right to vote or their "right" not to be incarcerated. You can bet that every one of these hoods has a criminal record the length of a tractor trailer.
That is the reason that I like Open Carry, not Constitutional Carry. Open Carry as I understand it will require same training, background checks, etc. as does Concealed Carry. Constitutional Carry lets anyone that wants to carry the ok to do so. Sounds good but won’t work. That is the reason you don’t see everyone in the State Congress running over themselves to get Const Carry in the pipeline. Doubt that you will ever see it. Certainly not before OC is tried for a few years, just as we had to try Concealed Carry before there was any action on OC.
