You are wrong, I am right on this, what you are talking about is the JUDICIAL Branch of Government, Standing before CONGRESS, YOU HAVE NO SUCH RIGHTS, AT ALL. Your only right is to TELL THE TRUTH! CONGRESS is Above ALL such Laws and Rights.

If you are a private citizen, you do not have to open your mouth.

At that point, the only way you could be forced to testify is if Congress AND the US Justice department gave you full and complete immunity from any and all charges that might arise from any testimony given before Congress.
At that point, only contempt of Congress would land you in jail for not talking.
If the united States Department of Justice has not granted you immunity, YOU CANNOT BE COMPELLED TO TESTIFY.
