That is one of the most absurd statements I've seen on FR, and that's saying something. And get used to it, that's the best we're gonna do on this issue I'm afraid. It's where the GOP nominee, even if it's Cruz or Walker or someone else good, is going to come down on it. Marriage licenses are doled out by states, so it has to be a state issue. Yes, I realize the major problems with this "across state lines" - but that's something that will have to be dealt with.
