If Netanyahu is not Prime Minister any longer, does that mean he is no longer in any position of authority other than being a figure of history? I can’t see him retiring to teach at some college or so called think tank, at least not yet.
Israel has a parliamentary system. Bibi will be back (this is actually his second stint as PM), just like Churchill was. It’s just going to take the Israelis seeing the consequences of their electoral decisions.
At worst, he will officially be leader of the opposition. He remains a member of the Knesset.
I believe Netanyahu is in three positions ... He is a member of the Knesset, he is the head of his party, Likud ... and ... he is Prime Minister.
SO, he might not be Prime Minister any longer (but we’ll see). Also, if he loses, the Likud may be mad enough at him that he might not be head of his party. At the end, though, he is a member of the Knesset.
He will remain a member of parliament, at a minimum, unless he resigns.
I'd LOVE a warrior for a President
