I certainly would not hold my breath on any punishment of our King by the GOP anytime during the next 700 days. Lots of huff and puff is all you will get - more hearings. The power of the purse and Impeachment will never ever be used by the corrupt GOP again against the opposition party (if you choose to call it an opposition).
