Many are looking at electronic frontier positions, if they can find them. Others are in a wait and see position. Some local radio stations are also having problems.
As for moving to Montana, I’m not sure these guys would want to leave the legalized pot state.
Judging by the last couple of trips Grandma and I made to visit the kids remaining in Colorado, one MAJOR obstacle for those Colorado pot types getting to Montana is passing through Wyoming to get here.
There's a long-standing tradition that every Wyoming LEO within fifty miles of a highway coming out of Colorado pays particular attention to "those Green plates" for traffic violations, but lately I think that philosophy may have been adjusted a tad.
I recall passing one Colorado driver going north of Cheyenne had state and sheriff's patrol cars circling like a flock of vultures 'round a roadkill skunk. 'Course, that old Subaru did have all those Mao/Coexist/SaveThePuffins bumperstickers and you couldn't really see through the windows for the smoke..... Briefly wondered if that poor soul would make it as far as Douglas before somebody dropped a rope on him, but I just dialed the speed control back to 80ish and let 'er buck.
(Oh, I noted that number just in case he turns up around The Homestead or anyplace else I happen to go....)
