Missouri Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer was on the local radio this morning. He recommended the president and attorney general “sit down and shut up,” to allow people in Ferguson to resolve their problems.

There will be no resolving of their problems. The businesses looted, burned out, and destroyed will not be rebuilt or re-opened. There will be created a “food desert”, a “deli desert” and a clothing “desert” along streets devoid of customers. Neither will ANY jobs exist for those who live in the area.
Then will come the MOST dangerous time. When the police no longer care or dare to do their often unpleasant jobs of enforcing the laws on the books. The police department, vilified, scorned, and blamed for the ills of the world, will cease to enforce those pesky laws. Then will come the outraged complaints of POLICE NOT DOING THEIR JOBS.
The police cannot win, can they?
