Oh, I think a nuclear exchange in the middle east is inevitable, looking decades out.
Obama’s deal with Iran merely brings the date of that event closer.
Saying “could” is being extremely generous. Obama changed the White House line from “Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon” to “Iran can have nukes, but (please) ten years down the road”.
It is most definitely “will” rather than “could”. Obama will be a direct cause of World War III by doing this.
Iran’s looking much further afield than the Middle East. Their “Great Satan” is not located there after all.
Iran’s looking much further afield than the Middle East. Their “Great Satan” is not located there after all.
That’s an observation worth repeating.
Once again,
CONGRESS allowing Obama to sow the seeds of Nuclear Holocaust by giving Nukes to a Declared Terrorist Nation
we used to call this TREASON when I was a kid!
Congress has ALL the power in washington, the executive and judicial branch operate according to the whims of CONGRESS!
Congress can Remove the President
Congress can remove the head of every executive agency
Congress can remove ALL of their employees
Congress can Abolish every agency they so choose
Congress can remove EVERY JUDGE IN AMERICA, including every supreme court justice.
Congress can abolish every federal court except the supreme Court
Congress can decide which cases the Judicial Branch can hear and decide
CONGRESS can Imprison ANYONE they want for any reason they so desire for as long as they wish.
Congress can declare WAR
No other governing body has even 10% of the power CONGRESS has!!
CONGRESS IS ALLOWING ALL OF IT!!!
Obamas about face on nuclear non-proliferation to help his Brothers Iran ?
As Rush Limbaugh observed on his show today: the Obama administration sees a nuclear Iran as a stabilizing influence, necessary to counter a nuclear Israel.
Thanks, you are absolutely right. Mostly.
I do think you’re wrong here, though.
“CONGRESS can Imprison ANYONE they want for any reason they so desire for as long as they wish.”
No such power in the Constitution. Thankfully.
However, I get extremely tired of drivel about “three co-equal branches of government.”
The Founders intended and designed the Constitution to make Congress supreme.
However, for the last hundred years or so Congress has increasingly abdicated its powers. The problem is that exercising power will always piss somebody off. The best way to get re-elected is to piss few people off as possible.
Exercising its constitutional power is in the interests of Congress as an institution, but counter to the interests of the individual congresscritters. Guess which wins.
I think Obama is doing exactly what he intended to do: degrade America on the world stage, increase the power of third world nations, bolster Islam, and in general create havoc and destuction in the west.
Not for one minute do I believe this guy is so stupid or naive as to really believe the consequences of his actions would be anything else.
I wish I could fast forward 100 years just to see how the era in history is remembered.
Our choice was peace or honor. Obama chose dishonor. We will have war. (apologies to Churchill)
What deal? In the words of Roy Orbison:
“Anything you want...you got it.”
I think “decades out” is far to optimistic. Try a few years at most. Maybe months. JMHO of course.
War is coming. The only question is whether we will be ready, and which side will we be on.
Congress has the authority to arrest and imprison those found in Contempt. The power extends throughout the United States and is an inherent power (does not depend upon legislated act)
If found in Contempt the person can be arrested under a warrant of the Speaker of the House of Representatives or President of the Senate, by the respective Sergeant at Arms.
Statutory criminal contempt is an alternative to inherent contempt.
Under the inherent contempt power Congress may imprison a person for a specific period of time or an indefinite period of time, except a person imprisoned by the House of Representatives may not be imprisoned beyond adjournment of a session of Congress.
Imprisonment may be coercive or punitive.

I will continue to beat this drum until everyone else catches on, that it is CONGRESS ALLOWING IT
You could be right, of course.
My point is that the combination of Islam and nuclear weapons makes their use inevitable. Their religion commands them to use whatever they've got to smite their self-described enemies.
